About Me

I'm a wife and stay at home mom from Nashville.  Being a self taught artist, I've only completed a few high school art courses. My obsession with art has been life-long. I always admired any type of fantasy, illustrative works. I remember having puzzles, posters, books, folders, and shirts with all kinds of bright fantasy art and just being completely in love with the images. I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil, and I started painting with acrylics in 2007. "To the Stars" was my first painting. In 2017 I picked up using oil paints, again, being self taught, I had to watch countess youtube tutorials and google for hundreds of hours to learn techniques and tips paint with oils and acrylics alike. I am constantly trying to improve my work, but my love for bright surreal colors will never change. In June 2015 I was in the Nashville's First Saturday Art Crawl and had two display areas for my work. That was rewarding and nerve wracking! I got a lot of complements about how my work looked like Disney, or reminded some of Lisa Frank. (Huge compliments!)

In the fall of 2017 I opened my Etsy store and since then have great success selling original art through that store. I hope to attend craft fairs in the future, and to upload more youtube timelapse videos of my painting process.
